Sorry to distract from the thread but it is the season to be jolly and the title did ask what I was!!!!! ;D Oh and I'm not sticky but my legs are sometimes hairy, and I'm nowhere near the bog!!!

Oh oh oh - Dionaea muscipula? Sorry P, that's Venus Flytrap again and the others, inc Biggles are wrong too... I look like a Venus Flytrap, but I am slightly different and have another name....I am a British, wild, bog-dwelling, insectivorous plant....My name sounds like 2 things you might see first thing in the morning.....

That sounds as if it should be Wake-Robin ;D Drosera rotundifolia? Sorry I'm off-line now for the festive period, so if I'm right, could someone else choose, and I'll have a go later.

Oooh Wee you've just reminded me - on Boxing Day we went for a walk around a huge peat-bog and there were piles of peat just lying around. It was so tempting to take some, but I didn't, and THEN we found masses of glorious mole hills. Unfortunately I didn't have a bag, but LP did jump on a lot of them!!! ;D
Ooooh I've got to think of a plant....
I'm a relative of the rose, and a bit of an accessory ;D
