Think some of my seeds have got muddled up ;D I sowed loads of Pansies seeds a while back in 6 section trays and seem to have got some other seedlings popping up. Some of them are full sections and a few are mixed in with the Pansies too. Any ideas anyone

Carrots ;D I see the likeness Andy but doooooo hope they are not carrots ;D My street cred will be right up the swanny if they are ;D if i@ve got any street cred that is Nigella and Cosmos are likely looking contenders as I have collected seeds from both. Nigella the more likely I guess because of the seed similarity. Feel I right plonker really because I have no idea how I have got collected seeds muddled up. Probably didn't have me specs on the day I sowed. Thanks TCL and Andy, looks like I'll have to nurture them to find out what they are, just like the Rose seedling that isn't a Rose seedling ;D If it turns out to be a bramble and these turn out to be carrots I'll eat my gardening shoes (maybenotsmilie) ;D

If they die off in the frost they were cosmos, but I'd guess nigella, Cosmos seeds are long & narrow like carroway & not a bit like pansy.

Thanks folks, I'm beginning to think they are Nigella as I can't believe I got Cosmos seeds muddled with Pansies, totally different looking seeds. Gonna be a lot of blue going on in the garden, still they are lovely aren't they

Remember my mix up Well I lovingly planted all the young plants and even gave some to my neighbour because I had sooooo many. Was really looking forward to the splashes of blue around the borders Well, not a Nigella (Love in the Mist) in sight I'm afraid just these So what are they ? ? ? they have grown to about 2' high and I had them all over the place.

I thought it probably was Camomile too TCL but it doesn't smell like it It has grown so tall and has very upright strong stems.

Could it be a shasta daisy or swan river daisy Chuckles? I've sown these this year and have got foliage like those in your pic but cant remember which one without a trek over to the GH, which I'll do later. Will let you know.

Had a ganders in the GH last night Chuckles and the foliage looks like my swan river daisies. However, just googled both and neither end up looking like yours Chuckles. Have seen yours in many a garden though - some form of chrysanthemum maybe?
