... no, not the buzzing kind but the plants that happily flower for months on end. My Solanum Alba started at the beginning of May and is still flowering its socks off. White alyssum - my only 'bedding plant' - ditto. Although finished now, yellow (perennial) alyssum started at the beginning of April and went on until August, leaving lovely seedheads. Alchemilla Mollis flowered three times between May and September ... any other worker bees out there ;D? ... cheers ....

What a good thread C.C. I've a little white rose. I think the birds made a gift of it to me. I certainly didn't plant it. Anyway, it's flowering it's socks off. And has been all summer. Lovely. Ageratum also still going strong. An annual. Mum gave me some seeds years ago (they're now 10 years old and I'd never used them till this year) and thought I'd give them a go. Glad I did. They've been great space fillers.

My Wife of Bath rose, we planted it 37 years ago & it has little pink scented flowers almost all year.

Once again, my dahlias put on a very good show. My honeysuckle (being left behind) is still flowering. This is the time I've had fuchsias and they've done really well too.

Plain old English Marigolds - self seeded for the most part, no pests or special needs, prolific flowers and still going strong - a bright spot of colour wherever they are in the garden. Wonderful things.
