i have just inherited a load of them. now, should i put them in the compost bin, or rot them down on their own, and, it is safe to use isnt it, as i dont grow veg.

Not sure what to say, HELP someone

I have no idea either but one thing would interest me, and that is Toadstool spores go everywhere and we have a hell of a lot here - well if they are in the compost and you spread it about - aren't you going to get even more of them, or do they somehow break down and the spores die.
We have had toadstools coming up through the matting and gravel this year, - enormous things as well.

My OH and I used to go for many a walk through the woods and forest around here collecting edible toadstools. Then when we got back, we cleaned them up and ate them fried gently with bacon and onion and fresh crusty bread. However the things in my garden don't even seem to be in the Toadstool book that we have - huge and horrible things. RF

these are bright red, so i assume they are poisenous.
