Hi all, Any idea where's the best place to get bubblewrap (stationary, hardware?? ) I had some when starting the garden because we'd used it to pack for moving, but it's all used up/ripped/shredded by now ... any tips welcome ... cheers ... (oh, the reason I put this in gardening chat is that it's for the mini-GH ;D)

Hi CC - well if you have room in your luggage when you are in Germany then look for Baumaerkte - they have it for covering plants.
Bit of a shame though to take up space for Bubble wrap when you could take some lovely things back.

Good idea RF, I'll try our local builder's merchant. I've already allowed for an extra suitcase coming back from Munich ... and have already metaphorically filled it (books, kitchenware, .... ;D) ... cheers ...

No, unfortunately the post office doesn't do it and nor does our local garden centre ... but builder's merchants sounds like a good idea so I'll give it a try tomorrow ... thanks, all ...

After reading this thread I asked at our PO and I am afraid that they looked at me rather strangely. I then asked my DIL and she said not to worry she would give me some. The "where did you get it from" didn't even escape my lips, I didn't have time. I do hope that you can find some CC.

I am lucky--Our local Window/Blinds shop have loads when unpacking their goods for sale and can supply me ( Free ) with really more than I need at the moment (cause of move to smaller garden) You might find a good source of supply from one of these type of shops.

Thanks Biggles .... I'm sorted for now, but there's a mirror shop just down the road which might prove to be a more convenient source ;D ... cheers ...
