I was a mod. I had a Greecian (sp) haircut and wore a green flowered trouser suit when I was 14-15 and thought I looked the bees knees. LOL

Well when I was about 14 a lot of my friends were 'smoothies' with their 2 tone suits, crombies and lacy tights (and Benn Sherman shirts..)...I was more of a rock-hippy type...in those days rockers were called 'greasers' and hippies were called 'hairies'...NOT that I'm one to split hairs...or hippies... ;D
OH had huge 3-wheeler motorbikes with 'ape-hanger' handlebars..He used to wear a leather jacket with a sheepskin waistcoat over the top...and a bandana over his long hair ;D...I had an afgan coat and used to shop for my groovy flares and cheesecloth tops (and loooong floaty embroidered dresses) on Carnaby Street....sigh....My hair was v long and I would toss it haughtily when whistled at by strangers.
doesn't tend to happen now...only get chatted up by hopeful geriatrics (usually drunk) at parties! (not a problem..OH is a dish)

mmmmmmmmmmmmm Honda VFR nice bike.
I think if I'd been around in those days I'd have been a rocker. Preferred those bikes and music :-D
I asked my Dad a few days ago actually when Quadrophenia was on TV whether he was a mod or a rocker and he said neither but my mum said she was a rocker. Off her rocker more like.
