I've been sorting out my saved seeds and there are some spare if anyone wants any - just pm me your address 5 x purple hollyhocks (approx 10 seed heads) 5 x "black" sunflower seeds (approx 20 seeds) 5 x Rudbeckia mixed large heads (from my allotment - loads) 5 x Opium poppies mixed (just enough not to draw too much attention lol ) and lastly lots of marigold seeds. I don't know what the germination rate will be but there is plenty in each little packet to make sure something grows Hopefully I will be able to get them posted this weekend.

Got them They arrived safe today. Thank you. You are so right Shrub only could some one tell Spring to start now? It is 11 degrees C so that is fine but it is wetter than wet outside and the darknes is getting to me. I'll think I'll go to MssK's see what I can do. Rather get wet than depressed

Who knows they might even have given eachother a little wave. Seeds on holidays ;D I know, I am barking mad. I googled the purple Hollihock for more information. Did yours ever really grow to two meters hight? I thought they would be more like Malva. When they do grow that big I will have to find a nice spot for them in the back of the border.

Yes Dutchy 2m high at least and when I cut them back they started all over again. I'm sure if I am brave enough to go out in the garden tomorrow there will still be some flowers I was kindly given the original seeds from CPB earlier this year
