I didn't know what to buy for friends this year. Not the closest friends, but those like a helpful neighbour, or someone you want to remember with a little gift. Or someone who may have given you plants. ;D I thought I'd try having a calendar made up using photographs I'd taken. They only took a few days and arrived this morning. I am thrilled with them. Naturally, I used plant photos from my garden. I got them from Vistaprint, and they are offering a free sample at the moment. Make sure you go to the UK site.

Wee what a fab idea I love it.
When you think of some of the great photographs we all have of plants and other things in our garden they would be great for a calendar. It's also means you are giving a garden related present to may be a non gardener too, so a bit of garden advertising if you like.
I think it's a really fab idea ;D

What a very good idea. I am afraid that my Christmas wish of a digital camera seems to have been ignored for the most part . Am I allowed perhaps to take a couple of photos from here if I ask permission.

But I'll check this out for you with Admin if you like? Shrub.

You must get the photographer's permission first Pip but as it's for personal use and not publication I think people will be quite generous.

What a brillian idea. For my nan's Christmas present this year, I have bought a pot for her courtyard garden and have filled it with spring flowering bulbs, and a Shamrock Pea (which is flowering, despite the fact that it is not summer!) for a bit of greenery.
My only problem now is, I haven't a clue how I am going to wrap it up!

You can use any of mine should you so desire. They're not great mind you
