Does anyone know if it is illegal for a builder to start work in a field where there is a badger's sett please In order to build these houses he will infiltrate the area near the badgers and am sure will have no qualms in digging in and around "their land" thank you jenny

I'm sure Badgers are a protected animal - I would contact someone PDQ - try DEFRA and/or RSPCA anyone you think might be able to help. Also local paper/radio that might lead you to another source of help. Fingers crossed!

Pity you couldn't find a rare butterfly or beetle or something like that, even a rare wildflower! Keep us posted. Keith
