and I meant to say, I went on Thursday for a wander and was tempted by lots of things, but didn't fancy the weather for planting them out so came away empty handed.
There were lots of little pots of snowdrops which would look lovely under my tree...

Me thinks you like begonias then??
I used to have three corms that I used to resurrect each year and hang up in the greenhouse (my haven then!). I'm not a huge fan but those huge, rose like blooms sure did put a smile on my face!!! Shame they didn't smell like roses too!

Well each yeat Amo, i seem to go for different "main plants"....last year was Cannas but they didn't do well because of the lousy summer. However, i grew some Tuberous begonias from plugs and they were stunning.
So this year i'm going to do it but be a bit more organised.
;D

I'm sure the effect will be stunning with all those varieties Andy. I look forward to the pictures. I'm affraid the term 'loose planting' applies to our garden (translated means, far from organised, as my brain doesn't understand!!!). ;D ;D

I am still trying to find the Tuberous begonia "Champagne"....I can get them as plants 3.99 Euro (around 3 Pounds UK) per plant last year but not as a tuber or a plug. I took so many cuttings last year from the 3 plants that I have had but they are all dying. I will try and get some more this year - the tubers are still OK from last year at least.
I must admit that I love the Tuberous Begonias. I do hope that we get a good summer and you can take some pics Andy.

Awww Auricula!!!
I used to do The Trip. In the hols my daughter used to love it too, but I'd make a flask, clear the boot and put in extra plastic and spend a whole day visiting the GC's out to quite a distance. It was a well known and pre planned route mind but I still managed to visit about 10 centres. And the route for the day was an out and back again one so if I spotted something I wasn't too sure of I could always re visit on the way home!! ;D
