Depending on your taste Bridal Crown smells or stinks. I do not particularly like the smell it is a bit strange. Which is why the ones I bought are outside. And when frost is predicted I put them in the shed.

Not exactly a garden center but the first winter garden show in the Netherlands. Dutch shows are in general a disappointment as design and furniture is considered more important than plants. If you want plants you go to a specialist grower. They do do show gardens but hey it is still winter. Impressive amount of Helleborus niger though and evergreens and some one brought sarcocca that lovely smelling one. So here are some pics. Maybe I should have taken a photo of the super Jakoozy that was there, we could have easily fitted all in ;D Anyhow after a queezy start of the day I feel all perked up now. And I did get the Lilium Regale I so wanted to get.

As with everything dutch - immaculately tidy, pristine, etc. And very 'cool'/chic. ;D
Where are you going to put your lily dutchy?

Lovely photos Dutchy and I would not mind that seating arrangement in my garden. Very nice indeed.
I managed to get some rather nice primroses to put into a rather tatty but much loved basket in the porch. The colours are wonderful at this time of the year.

Well it is all a bit too much structure too prim and maybe indeed too upmarket ;D The Lily I got 5 and three are going in my sunny bed where I killed the Jeruzalem artichoke ( I specialize in that, a bit like with buddleia ) The other two are for an experiment. I read that you can gently peel the thick bits of the base plate and pot up in nice draining compost. Thus one corm gives you maybe four more plants. Four, as it is wise not to strip the entire corm. So they go in pots and the remaining centre I will plant at MssK. Should I start a thread on this? Maybe later when I take the plunge. Pip any chance on a photo? I'd love to see it.
