I object to that, Plocket and I are petite ladylike cogs! You might have to delete the "petite" as far as I'm concerned Sweetleaf!!! ;D Oh, I meant big as in important and valuable cogs. I wasn't talking volumetrically. Heaven forbid. It would be more than my life is worth!!! Gosh, how can you think I meant that? Good back-pedalling Sleepy! Worth me stopping ignoring you FOR THE TIME BEING I think!!! ;D I stand by my words, we arent BIG COGS anyway...........are we?

Well we can either take it that EVERYONE is a cog because it's an analogy for living life, or we can be more realistic and think of metal spiky round things and reject it whole heartedly!!! ;D OR Sleepy was being humble (or pretending to be anyway) by suggesting that we are important on these boards!!!

Ill go for the last, most unlikely theory, that sleepysunday was being humble, and we are important, but only because you say so.

I feel like part of a team: Butch Cassidy and Sundance; Cagney and Lacey; Turner and Hooch; Gin and Tonic; Holly and Ivy........... ;D Don't forget that Sleepy was probably pretending though Sweetleaf!!!

Hi Gardenhammerette
You're not at Roundhay Hall, are you??? If so, maybe you were one of the nice people who looked after my Mum there a couple of months ago! She came in for an ankle fusion, and she's now getting about on crutches - hurrah!
BTW, you couldn't do me a quick arthroscopy, could you? I've got an extraneous bit behind my patella and I'm going to have to wait six months at my own hospital!

Margi x Evening Margi Sadly I cannot take the credit for being one of the people who looked after your Mum, I'm not at Roundhay Park ( I do know where it is and know of one orthopaedic surgeon over there!!), I'm in York. Glad to hear she is recovering well. I'm sure one of our chaps could sort out a quick arthroscopy for you - 6 months is alot shorter wait time than our Trust at the moment if that's any consolation. It took 11 months from being referred to actually getting my arthroscopy. This was in 2004.

Hi Gardenhammerette - oooh, York eh! Niiiiiice!!!
Thanks Andy, mate!!! I feel SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better for knowing that! I only saw someone for the first time on Tuesday about it, and I'm probably going to wait 12 weeks for an MR scan then another 6 months for the arthroscopy - so there's another nine months of pain heading this way...
