Hi all,
I grew two plants from seed earlier this year, and planted them out. One - on an east-facing wall - is thriving; the other - on a west-facing wall - has grown very little since being planted out in May - it's only about 18 inches high. About a month ago I lifted it, dug in some seaweed and compost, and re-planted it - but it's still sulking. Should I leave it in for the winter and hope for the best, or start again from seed? Any advice appreciated ... cheers ...

Funny lot these Passifloras ( or is it Passiflorae?). I grew some from seed, a few grew, some with completely different leaves to the other ones. I planted them out in the garden to train up different things. Some are doing better then others but at one point I thought that some of the slowest growers were going to just keel over and die, as I'd planted a few 'runts' as well as the stronger plants. I'm glad I waited because they got second wind and are now thriving, so I would leave them in and see what happens.
