Both girls asleep, OH asleep, 3 cats asleep, no TV. Just been wandering around out in the yard waiting for dogs to do their thing. It's a lovely night out there - nearly full moon, little trails of white cirrus clouds floating by in a deep blue sky and I can hear owls over in the Forest. Which was nice.

Nothing exciting sadly Plantaholic! I just had a small vat of Port and went up the little red stairs to Bedfordshire to spend a happy night listening to the dogs fighting over the bottom of the bed. What a difference a few hours make! It's been really stormy, aforementioned yard is a lake. It's pouring and I've had to dress up like an Arctic explorer to go feed the animals. The chickens won't contemplate stepping outside and even the poor goats are cowering in the sheds.....I do love our weather! (No, I really do).

You can't beat a crisp cold night in the country...especially when you've got a nice warm QUIET house to retreat to with a good book, a comfy chair and a mug of hot chocolate....

Hi 4pygmies Just reading your 2 posts again you could say that the only predictable thing about the English weather is its unpredictability - variety is the spice of life so they say Px
