Please, please can somebody give me some advice on my new tree? The lowest and oldest leaves are yellowing and going brown on the tips........should I remove these as the tree grows? Any other tips and hints on caring for it would be gratefully appreciated! I never thought in a million years I would pay this money for one plant SS x

I'm not an expert Susie, but this may just be natural aging. As these palms mature you do see them with bare trunks implying that the lower fronds are either cut off or fall off. Generally speaking they are pretty yough & need little looking after although they should be watered in dry weather.

A few die off each year, it gradually grows up that way & the new leaves are so neat with sharp folds, I cut the old ones off when they look really tatty, they cut you back if your not careful.
