Hi, Is any familiar with this rose, it was named after Christian Dior's perfume and I am intrigued to know if its scent is similar to the fragrance which was one of my favorites when you could still buy it in the UK Sara

Hi Sara
Whether the scent is the same as that of the perfume I do not know - however I have quite a few Roses from Delbard of France and they are absolutely fantastic. The scent from some of them is positively erotic and sensuous - unfortunately they are not hardy enough for me - well at least not all of them.
Fantastic roses as I say.....

I had my Delbard catalogue on my desk as I was reading this so have looked it up. They have a"pyramid" of perfume, trying to describe what their roses smell of and for Dioressence, in descending order it says: Bergamot, geranium and woody/mossy! Would that describe the Dior perfume too? !!!!
