Consider Clematis x Triternata Rubromarginata plants.thompson-morgan.com/uk/en/product/2044/1The scent is to die for. The flowers are not dramatic, but profuse. I hope Big P would approve. ________________________ Oh! Lilies - I should have read the thread title

I have Oriental lillies in pots Susie, I put them near seating areas in the gdn when in bloom. It's fab to sit there and you can loose yourself in the heady perfume. There are some really dramatic ones these days that are really striking. Stargazer was the first one I ever bought. Let us know which ones you get Off the top of my head I have African Queen Regale Mona Lisa Muscadet Stargazer

Excellent site, thanks a mill ;D ;D Have you ever bought from them yourself? Yes, I also have Species Black Beauty growing in the front garden and I'm rather tempted by the Oriental Hybrid Casa Blanca, so I might be ordering too ;D. I've also pre ordered tulips from Bloms at Chelsea.

I must admit I am not a fan of the big 'blousy' lilies [sorry everyone], but I like the look of Jparkers Netty's Pride. Dramatic, yet understated, just like me! ;D And suncrest And Nerone ;D

Changed my mind about the Fireglow Susie, I googled other pics and it didn't look so good and it's a lot of money for a possible dissapointment. I'm going to do a couple of those green and white Arums in the barrel instead. I like the looks of Netty's Pride Jonah lovely colour but all my Lillies have to be scented

I wouldn't have a clue about whether they have any scent, but I'm a sucker for a pretty picture! ;D I think one of my fave smells in the garden is the curry plant, always makes me hungry!
