Hello, could you please give me your opinion on this plant. What plant is it and how should I look after it?

Looks like a cistus or rock rose to me....needs as much sun as you can throw at it with bone dry, well drained reletively poor soil

If it turns out to be a euphorbia (I don't know either) the answer to how to look after it is with great care - the sap is seriously irritant. Wear gloves and don't let it touch your skin.

Looks like a Cistus to me. Foz Must admit that was my first choice and the more i look at the shape of the shrub, the more i'm sticking to it

Doesn't look anything like my cistus, but there are quite a lot of different ones, aren't there? You could have a look at the pics on this site, Trunkyjo, & see if you can match it: www.cistuspage.org.uk/Photo%20gallery.htm

hmm, it does and it doesn't look like these. The leaves look really thick and sort of furry with a silvery sheen to them, guess I'll have to wait and see what it does in the summer, the flowers will tell hopefully.

Tried to have a close look at it and... It looks like a miniature Buddleia to me. Lucky for you it is probably a Cistus then because I am lethal to Buddleia ;D Are the leaves and branches somewhat sticky? That would make it clearly a Cistus Dutchy
