Has anybody ever grown these and if so were they successful?

I grew a couple last year but it's still early days to know whether they have survived the winter. I've no reason to believe they haven't survived though because the Bowdenii that I have are fairly hardy.

Thanks P, are yours in the garden or in pots?
I've heard they do better if the bulbs are crammed together? Strange as I thought they'd probably come up blind.

I have a stunning display of Nerine x Bowdenii at work.
They are as hard as nails and provide a superb display of colour in autumn for many weeks.
They only require planting half in compost/soil and the top half out. They will flower then the leaves will be around for most of the summer. If you're growing them in pots, feed well when the leaves are growing and you will be well rewarded
Good luck and go for it !!!

Mine are in pots Susie, and as mentioned the necks should be out of the soil. Give them a go - you know you want to!!! ;D
