Afternoon all, it's a lovely day here.  Can anyone identify this little plant by my front gate?  It's only about 5 inches tall, small dark green leaves, new growth is lighter, not prickly. I don't remember planting it.  |

Looks like a seedling pyrecantha to me !!!

Do you think so Andy? I have got a couple in the garden, so it is possible, I suppose being a seedling it might look a bit different.
If it is, I guess that's another plant for my dads garden, I haven't got room for any more. ;D
