This year I put a few daffs and some snowdrops in pots, I'm afraid they didn't get looked after as well as they could have been also had some Hyacinths in a pot too in the house. They have all gone over now and the leaves are drooping down and looking very sad. I understand that they should be fed to build up the bulb for next year. Am I too late as they have now finished flowering or could I feed them and put them down the garden out of the way.

Yep...give em a good liquid feed for a few weeks...i'd even use a very dilute feed....say 1/3 of normal strength, and feed every time you water the bulbs and then plant them somewhere in the garden out of the way or simply lift the bulbs around mid june when the foliage has died down and store them dry for the summer in a shed or something
