Anyone know why mine didn't show this year? Not one! The Christophiis are out and so are the Bulgariwatsits. I can't even find any leaves for 'blind' plants.

My PS are only just showing about an inch of shoot on the most advanced plants. They are all new in this last autumn. The other alliums, planted in previous years, are already in flower. I'd wait a week or so more before giving up on yours.

Hi Greenfingers, nice to meet you. All my allium bulbs were planted at the same time 2 autumns ago and last year I'm sure the PS's were the first to show. But, I'll keep my eyes peeled and my fingers crossed, I so much preferred them to the Bulgariwatsits! ;D

I think I've found a couple! But they were definitely out first last year, I have the photos to prove it! ;D

First time I've grown them this year and all are in flower, have to say I thought the flowers would be bigger than they are they are nice though. If it don't rain tomorrow I'll take some pics

Hi Chuckles, welcome back, have you got any of these? They are the Christophiis which I think are more showy than the Purple sensation and I have about 7 of them in flower at the moment. Purple sensations, which I think are nicer than the bulgaricums They are okay but you have to turn the flowers up to see them. Anyway, I have 2 PSs now but they are still not fully open. I definitely had about 10 last year.

Looking round the garden yesterday I noticed these little bublets, well I think thats what they are on on of my Purple Sensation flower heads that are just going over. Of about 12 that I planted this is the only one that has these. Anyone else get these and what should I do with them
