Nooooooooooooooo.... <tuts> as IF!!
OK... maybe just a little thing. Another radiator cat bed but it was only £4!!
We've got plenty of stuff with having Schmickles so don't have to buy anything.

I started to get quite excited earlier today (before it went so stupidly manically busy). They're both upstairs now having a good explore. I've taken their lampshades off for now to let them have a bit of freedom, food and water but will probably have to put them back on before bedtime. Pickles has already been up on top of the wardrobe which is Schmickles' spot so don't think that will go down well. Schmickles has gone out again and although I know she will, I worry that she won't come back.

Oh yeah, great. They've managed to get out the cat flap and go AWOL.
Schmickles was trying all evening and probably all night to get out of the cat flap and when I got up this morning, the cat flap that I had locked before I got the cats home, was now open in the setting that allows them to get out but not in.
I spent an hour looking for them before I went to work at 7:30am and phoned every vet, RSPCA, CPL, and pet log so they can put a note on their chips as they won't be registered yet.
I don't have a printer so will have to go up to my Mum and Dad's tomorrow to print off some posters so I can put them up tomorrow and I'll go out again later when the roads are quieter. I hope they're gone up towards the fields and not towards the main road.
I'm absolutely gutted. I'm sure someone up there just wants me to be miserable.

OH NO!!! Oh, April I hope you find them ok. Is Schmickles with them, do you think? Or is she back at home and pretending that she didn't break the cat-flap open? What a sneaky way for her to get rid of the intruders Best of luck in finding them. Hope they are ok

No, Schmickles is here loving every minute of being a single child again! And yes, it was rather sneaky of her. I think she probably held it open and then locked it behind them. I've notified all vets, RSPCA, CPL, Pet log, various missing pets websites and will put up posters tomorrow. I've also stopped a few people walking their dogs in the street to ask them and they've said they will keep an eye open for them. Now Eric's paw is bleeding. Dunno what he's trod on but I just hope it doesn't get infected because I can't afford to take him to the vets again. Cost me nearly £50 last time! Does it ever end?!

They just came home ;D I went out for a final sweep and had just decided to give up when I saw Princess sat on the wall further down the road. I had to do a double take because I honestly thought it couldn't be her. Then I saw Trixie sat on the gate post near the house.
I'm so made up!

The paw has just got a cut on it so think there may have been some glass in the car park next to the house. It's stopped bleeding now so we'll just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get infected.

We still keep calling the cats Trixie and Princess and it has to stop!!!
Think we've decided now to call Trixie Toffee. Just need to find something that suits Princess.

our first cat was named chutney by my daughter, the second pom pom (fluffy cat), soon changed to shitty pom pom, now we have fat mamma cat and daughters belle and jolie, then late this summer pickles turned up. i seem to be a beacon of fertility or a soft touch or a refuge for young pregnant cats, all the cats that have turned up over the years, have been female. cost a fortune in vet fees. he gave me a deal with mamma cat & her offspring, none the less haven't seen a mouse in the house for over a year. chutney got taken out in a hit and run, planted her up by the chateau. i'm so glad that your came home, it's a terrible feeling when they have gone missing, well done, keep the kitty faith ;D

She's a erm... adult magician shall we say using a part of her body not normally used for magic tricks. Involves ping pong balls and stuff...

Might call her dirty though just come in and got dirty foot prints all over my laptop lol
Had to take them all to the vets last night. I'm now over £100 lighter in the bank balance but Schmickles is now flea protected, wormed, microchipped and had her first vaccination (she really wasn't very happy about all that) and Toffee and Pudding had their stitches out.
I like that vet, she's really nice. She had to get the nurse to hold the cats down though so they didn't hate me ;D To be fair though, I'd have howled a bit if someone stuck a needle that size in the scruff of my neck.

Yeah she's none the worse, just routine vaccinations and stuff for the insurance. She stopped sulking not long after we got home because we got the treats out!
