As you may/may not have read, I'm rehoming 2 8 month old kittens from my local RSPCA in about a week or so.
They're currently called Princess and Trixie and if you know me well enough, you'll know that those names aren't really my cup of tea.
History of pets names, Thomas (who later became Thomasina), Sammy (Samantha but unisex Sammy in case it was another Thomas), Jo (Josephine in case she was another Thomas lol), Colours (Tortoishell originally my sister's cat), Dabs (character from a book called the Alchemists Cat, she was a stray), Shadda (Not Shadow cos that sounded a little gay but he was also a stray) and Schmickles (a catchphrase from Bo Selecta TV show).
I was originally going to call them Butters and Timmy from South Park but they're male characters. I was going to call any chickens I got Ethel and Mildred so that's them 2 names gone. Bodgit and Scarper was another idea and Florence and Emily are the 2 "ladies" from Little Britain.
While I'm away for a few days, I'd like you to come up with name suggestions. Wacky and unusual welcomed ;D

I think you are probably going to stick with Butters and Timmy cos you've got them pretty well fixed in your head now ;D And why not, just because they are boys names? Schmickles is hardly a fluffy, feminine name, and she doesn't seem to mind.

You really have to think about how it will sound when you call them. When I work my dog, you'd be amazed at how many are called 'c'meer you b***ard!'

What about sherbert & dibdab.
I know they're really called sherbert dipdabs but dibdab sounds a better name ! I used to love sherbert dipdabs when I was young.

I saw them today in the little sweet shop in town...they sell sweets from the old fashioned jars, although I think that the jars are now made of plastic instead of glass. I bought some Army & Navy sweets and a sherbet dip dab. ;D

What about Tickles and Fickles (or any names ending in ickles) to go with Schmickles. Then you'd only have to call "ickles" and they'd all come running! ;D

hehe good thinking!
Had to put another collar on Schmickles when I got home because she'd somehow lost the other one.
Think it's annoying her a little because the bell is a bit louder than it was on the old one lol
Come on, keep the names coming!

What about 'oojit' and 'eejit' (I'm convinced one of them's going to be batty!!! ;D) Or Arsenfeffer (feffer for short! ) and Pansy? I used to give my cats long names and then shorten them e.g. Mistress Poppy Bumlicker (poppy for short), Tabitha Bigeyes (Tabby), Mr Charles Whinge-Bucket (Charlie of course) etc.

What colour are these cats ? Maybe if we knew their colouring, we might be able to suggest a few more names.
I like Splosh, Whimsy, Chutney & Pickle, Evadne & Hilda (as in Hinge & Bracket, for people of a certain age !) and Gertrude (or Gertie).

Anyway, one is tortoishell with a beige foot and the other is black and white with a black spot on her nose.

Thought of a few more...
From Father Ted: Drink and Feck. Now THAT would be amusing shouting out the door on an evening. Mrs Doyle is another one.
From League Of Gentlemen: Tubbs and maybe Barbara but probably not.
Carry On Films: Ding and Dong.
Monty Python: Nudge and Wink
