it was beautiful wee, there was even a bar of chocolate carved into it it must be dedicated to a child, it had spacemen, and bears, and flying saucers, and mice, i could go on and on, about flying fish and flying saucers, but i'm still wondering about the little equation.

That is a truly fabulous memorial. He was very much loved and liked by all for them to do this for him. So sad though, but it does bring a smile to your face looking a that bench.

What a wonderful memorial to someone who died so young.It certainly draws your attention so he will be forever rememberd by folks who see the bench. What a work of art.

I looked at that pictures of the bench and it really intrigued me.
Thanks so much for bringing the story to life - so sad with the loss of a young life, yet lovely that he will be remembered in such an eloquent way.

Wonderful craftsmanship and the fact that it 'draws' children to it must bring some comfort to his parents. It is a lovely memorial isn't it!

I think that is absolutely beautiful. And, as everyone says, a wonderful memorial. What a fantastic piece of craftsmanship. I'm so glad you posted about it, Barbara, it's really special.
