I bought this clem last year (or was it the year before : and it was stolen before I even had chance to plant it Anyway, today I decided to treat myself to a more mature plant and will plant it tomorrow ;D. It was alot more than I've paid for a clem before (£11.99 ) but it is in a 5ltr pot and already about 2ft high ;D I have no questions to ask, just wanted to share my new addition! www.clematis.hull.ac.uk/new-clemdetail.cfm?dbkey=1843Oh yes, forgot to mention, OH said that Jazz would buy me it for Mothers Day ;D Susie x

You can start doing them now Snowy! I've fed my container ones with worm-juice but haven't got around to feeding the ones in the ground yet - they aren't quite so needy

Susie, the clematis is gorgeous. Did you buy it at a garden centre as I don't think I have seen that variety before? PJ

I bought one last year and it was georgous, I have it growing up through a very old Lavateria and next to it is one called Fireworks which my daughter bought. May I just ask a question of Plocket? What is worm juice please? It cunjures up a wierd pic of you in the kitchen putting worms in your juicer. Hope you clean it out after.

PML! Noooooo! I've got a wormery and the worms produce a liquid which is collected at the bottom of the wormery. This juice is incredibly high in "good stuff" and is excellent plant food. I call it "worm juice" - sorry for the confusion!!! ;D
