Has anyone ever grown these before? I've just planted some in a pot and wonder if anyone could tell me about them or show me pictures.

I've never even heard of them Plocket! They are beautiful aren't they? I shall be interested in hearing how they perform as they look like the sort of bulbs I should have in my garden.... ;D X

I've put mine in a pot 4P because they are only half hardy, and I can't be bothered to dig bulbs up for the winter!! I got them at Wyevale so I don't suppose they are difficult to get hold of  Thanks for those links Chuckles - they tie in with the picture on the packet that I got. I'll post piccies when they flower! ;D |

Oh P those are very nice, you are a bit further south than I but let us know how you go on with them, such a striking red colour. Would love some.

Oh what a shame it's only half hardy. It would never survive a Fen winter then, and I am very bad at remembering to bring vulnerable plants under cover....I realised over the weekend I had left my Canna lily pots out all winter  |
