Actually, it's a sly way of trying to improve mine Chicken, onions, red peppers, sugar snaps, courgettes, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, mushrooms, baby corn, noodles, olive oil, 5 spice and lemon juice, soy sauce and pepper ;D I'm now off to cook it so look forward to coming back and seeing your ideas ;D S x

Always do an egg fried rice to which i add soy sauce, lime juice, honey, garlic, chilli, ginger, chopped onions, peppers and mushrooms, peas, sweetcorn and pineapple.
Sometimes i also chuck in a load of fried bacon.
Always make a big bowl of this and keep it in the fridge so i can have some for lunch (or even breakfast ;D )...lasts for a few days.

I did a stirfry last night...did the egg fried rice as above but i have a selection of stuff that always comes in handy for stirfries.....
Soy sauce, teriyaki sauce white wine vinegar lime juice lemon juice honey soft brown sugar worcester sauce balsamic vinegar "Very lazy" ginger "very lazy" garlic "very lazy" chilli
And they all go in the stir fry in varying amounts and get reduced down to make a nice sauce.

OH laughs at me when I buy that stuff cos he thinks it's easier just to buy the sauce. He doesn't complain when I cook the stuff though!

Same here . OH's idea of cooking a meal is opening a tin, a packet, the freezer door or the takeaway menu S x

Must admit though, sometimes I buy stuff thinking "ooh I saw that in a recipe I wanted to make" but after I buy it, I can't remember or find the recipe it was in and it sits in the cupboard for ages lol
