I know that you are fond of dark plants so I thought I would show you the Coleus Palisandra that I have grown from seed. I bought the seeds at Harlow Carr when we went last year, to grow this summer but I couldn't wait ;D They live in a herb pot set from Aldi on my kitchen window sill. I think they are really lovely. Hope you like them, they are much darker than shown in the photo, I dont know how to turn the flash off ;D

I used to grow the Coleus for Brighton parks....30 named varieties all grown from cuttings This is a poor pic which i've just scanned but it'll give you some idea of the operation. Most were used for floral decorating at civic functions but once we used them to build an enormous volcano for the old southern gardening show. Enough to brighten the darkest days
