Well whoever has got yours, has mine as well. I saw a few signs about 3 weeks ago and made a mental note to put out some pellets and then forgot - I haven't seen any since though.

They are all here in Redditch.
I am training them to eat my Mother.
(SEE WHINGE THREAD)
Seriously not seen any slug damage here at all yet. But we have an abundance of frogs and toads due to the pond so perhaps they are on 24 hour duty.

One of them is here. And ain't he a corker. That Snaily is a corker Wee ;D I dismantled and old herb bed last week which was a collection of old plastic tubs surrounded by a wooden screen affair (so you didn't see the white plastic tubs) you should have seen all the snails that were hiding underneath and around the tubs must have been 80 or more. All went over the hedge for next doors chickens ;D

That snail looks like it has sanskrit writing on it's shell - does it translate to 'show me where your seedlings and veggies are'

Well, in anticipation there will be plenty of slugs for all eventually, this tremendous tip from 'The Vegetable Growers' Guide' 1908:
" ... a pair of peewits, with one wing clipped to prevent flight, are very useful in a kitchen garden, helping materially to keep down slugs and snails..."
There you go, biological control.

Ah the good old days of nicotine wash and sulphur bombs. DDT certainly did its thing too. Perhaps the odd thrush maimed so would be a more modern choice?? That's if you can find one that is ;D I personally find the lesser weighted hammer head just as good. The the slightly snipping secateurs are an alternative but can get a bit sticky. Don't forget, don't just lob them over the fence. All their relatives are there just waiting for directions back to your place.
