Thanks for the tip-off. As part of a review of our finances, the DG family are now on a strict budget so this will be very helpful. Just can't decide if it's going to come from my beer budget, or my ciggie fund. Decisions, decisions...

Thanks Jardack been and got 4 bags today they have sold out at B&Q so Wicks 4 bags for £7.98 is a bargain. I need plenty for my new beds im making.

How are small nurseries supposed to compete with that . The best we can do is 3 x 75ltr for a tenner and we're hardly making anything on that . S x

Our Wickes had no compost at all last week, I called in there for something else. I always buy mine from a small local nursery who do 4 x 80 ltr bags for £10 and always end up buying other things whilst I'm there. This week I bought 4 strawberry plants and some houseplant spray along with my compost.
