With all the talk of weight loss, i was wondering what special things you eat when you're trying to loose weight.
I tend to live on jacket spuds with very low fat cream cheese, baked beans and salad or chicken stir fries. Breakfast is porridge with canderel on it
For work, i have Ryvita with cream cheese or cottage cheese on.
I always keep a big bag of dried apricots with me too.
I can't go without coffee...strong with one proper sugar and semi-skimmed milk.
What about rice and pasta...do you still eat it ?....wholemeal or normal ?
Any tips, help or suggestions would be helpful.

I hardly eat any carbs. Not many potatoes, starchy root veg or pasta. Lots and lots of top veg and salad. Very lean meats especially chicken, I don't eat fish unfortunately. A black coffee or two and peppermint tea and at least 3 litres of water each day. And don't call it a diet. It's just a different way of eating

I make things like tuna tomato pasta and eat more fruit. And something I affectionately call tuna sludge.
Most of the things I make are low fat. I can't eat things that are too greasy cos of my IBS. I use Olive oil instead of cooking oil. Plus the slow cooker means I don't have to add any oils to cook nor do I need as much fat on the meat as there's less evaporation.
I had a really good cook book many years ago I THINK it was by Christine France. Called low fat low cholesterol cook book. Some absolutely GORGEOUS stuff in there. Been trying to buy it again recently.
I'm not trying to lose weight as such, I just want to eat better. Although weight loss would be appreciated.
