Evening all..just another quick log in to say ,ello. I can't wait for you all to visit - this is GREAT! I think I have found my secret talent.......my friend Pru is much too unassuming to talk to the public about her design, so I have taken over the PR duties and have discovered I can talk the hind legs off a donkey (I know...amazing isn't it? ) I have turned into wild flower motor mouth and have been answering questions and talking to Mr and Mrs Public like a real pro for the past two days......Pru is flabbergasted and just unleashes me, standing back in amazement..... ;D You just can't keep a good babblehead down you know.........

Morning everyone! I've actually managed to wake up early enough to get online.....thanks very much for all your messages, it means a lot to me. I just wanted to confirm that there is NO WAY I will ever appear on TV......we had our photos taken with Joe the other day (with our cameras) and I look sooo much like a small, although strangely tubby, gnomelike munchkin that I have resolved to keep out of the way of any camera whatsoever for all eternity! Pru is much more tall, elegant and photogenic and looks to the manner born So MrsMotormouth will have to plan a career in radio only..... ;D

It's always been a complete mystery to me how a girl as lovely (once said to have a face like a Botticeli angel) as 4P could be quite so shy. especially when she's also so talented...but I can confirm it...she is cameraphobic. (a phobia I share, but in my case with good cause ;D ) However, she was going great guns yesterday at the show, tackling questions from the public in a friendly and confident way. The garden is wonderful...a jewel.

Just rang my (very deaf) 80 year old mother to see if she's going to watch GW tonight. Told her about 4P's & Pru's garden and she said she'd look out for it. "It's called Go Native", I said. "It's called what?" she asked. "GO NATIVE!" I yelled down the phone. There was a pause, and then she said ... ... "Go naked?" Took a while to explain, but we were both in fits

When I finally got through to mum that it was Go Native, she said "Well, that's not much better" Did eventually get her to stop thinking nudism and start thinking wildflowers though.

It did look like her mugshot! I'm 100% positive that was 4P. Obviously I don't know what Pru looks like but I'm absolutely sure that was 4P, and they were being given their Silver-Gilt ;D

Well I saw you both yesterday afternoon, you were chatting up ;D to some guy 4P. The people were 3 deep around the garden at the time and I couldn't get close enough to catch your eye and as you were talking I daren't yell YooooHooooo 4P ;D The garden looked spendid from what I could see, unfortunately there were too many folk about to get a photo The clip on the Beeb is fab and I have to say you two look so like sisters to me You must have an odd mirror 4P if you think you look like "a small, although strangely tubby, gnomelike munchkin"

Just got back from the show. Twas a great day all round - lovely weather, lovely gardens and, most of all, the chance to meet and have a chat with the lovely 4P ;D Prue's garden is beautiful - very natural and very green with wildflowers amongst the tall, delicate waving grasses. A mown path takes you past a wildlife pond and up to a little haven of shade where one can sit and ponder with a glass of something chilled. Height was provided by native trees - birch, hazel and beech. It really was the most delightful garden. I did take some pics but I reckon I'll put mine up after she's posted hers.

I agree with CPB and Shrub's comments on the garden. It really was lovely, and definitely outshone the garden opposite, which wasn't my cup of tea at all (a bit bland in my opinion). It was also lovely to meet 4P too.
All in all it was a lovely day, and made a very memorable birthday for me.

Oooh Shrub you lucky lady. I only got a glimpse of Joe. Saw John Torode as well (he was apparently showing us pommes how to make a proper yorkshire pud!) Wasn't impressed.
