Just seen the news about the pong the eastern wind has brought over to us from Germany and Holland. Is this in payment back for the cold wind and snow we've been sending you?? ;D PS, It always pongs like that around here at this time of year

how bizarre ! difficult to know whether it would be organic or chemical ! about 55miles east of us, there's a place called lacq, well, if ever there's a place where the devils farts come from, that is it!!!! luckily we don't smell it here, and i don't visit lacq very often either. there's an enormous, gigantic natural gas thingy ! i heard this morning in england, the odour was smelt from london to bristol, and no doubt beyond. definately not armani scented

I heard about it on the news yesterday Amo. Something to do with having an area of high pressure over the east and a wind coming from the east. Somehow the combination of these two things causes particulates from agricultural/industrial activity to be blown our way and then remain trapped in the air. Apparently it's going to last through the weekend until the wind direction changes. Glad I cant smell it!

So do we RF!!
There's a farm not that far down the road and fields surrounding. When the wind blows in a certain direction at certain times of the year, it really honks.
I've found a source for plenty of well rotted manure though at my friend's farm!!
