i feel this maybe a sister thread to whinge thread. we have previously discussed lilly beatles who have a 007 attitude. apparently full on genicide is a very strong option. when they're babies are born, there is no alternative. squidge or not to sqidge, there is no other choice. pests, who needs them? yellow aphids have decided that an early holiday is just what they needed, on my laurel rose, squidging is required. i have a list; butterflies & they're babies on my brassicas, small children in my stawberries, carrot fly, pea stealing mouse, question/answer for very annoying things? i think so.....

Onions keep away carrot fly, and carrots keep away onion fly - these are low flying flies so putting very fine netting around your crops early in the season should help. www.harrodhorticultural.com/HarrodSite/product/Garden%20Netting_Ground%20Cover%20and%20Mulching%20Fabrics/GDN-018.htmCoating peas in Paraffin is supposed to deter mice.
