Just a heads up that whilst we are enjoying tropical days and milder nights in the UK, we may be tempted to put our little seedlings out. Keep them shaded....i've just had all my nicotiana seedlings badly scorched because i needed the room and put them out. After 25 years, you would've thought i'd have known better

My nicotiana were OK because I've planted them inbetween the tulips and they are a bit shaded. But two of my toms have 'sunburn' , and some tiny impatiens I only put out for a few hours looked very sorry for themselves when I brought them back in, quite a few have keeled over. It is easily done Andy, we forget how strong that sun is, not having seen much of it so far this year.

It really has been terribly hot. Too hot for me, never mind poor wee seedlings.
