I haven't intentionally sown carrots this year. But for you veg experts, does this look like one to you?

I'm certainly no expert, but it looks very similair to the foliage in one of my troughs where I did plant some carrots for the kids

Because of how much foliage you have there Shrub, if you gently move the soil away from the base and see orange -- then probably yes But the foliage looks a bit thin to me (I know what I mean possibly a herb? x Tig

Didn't strike me as a carrot on first looks. I thought fennel, maybe love in a mist something like that.
Might be worth cushing a small leaf and smelling it !!!

We have this little weed thing that I always think is carrot. It has small pink hooded flowers, don't know what it's called though. And there is also chamomile but I guess, as with fennel, you'd smell that!! ;D

I got confirmation on what my 'mystery' plant is - was at the nursery last Monday and went into their herb section and stopped in my tracks when I saw the 'wild chamomile'. Ah-ha, so that's what it is I thought. Dont know whether to keep it now. It does smell very pleasant though but I always consider this to be a weed. What does everyone else think? Should it get the chop or not?

NO! Don't waste it Shrub...chamomile is a lovely plant and good for wildlife - you must have a little spot to find a home for it somewhere....

It's still going strong LNG - and has lovely little flower heads on it. I quite like daisy type plants and will keep it in a pot for now
