With all the rain we've had the last couple of days, I'm glad the forecasters got it right for a change because I chucked a load of Evergreen Extra on the lawns on Saturday night. The only thing is, it doesn't seem to touch clover at all.
Does anyone know any product that kills clover in lawns ? I've now got several large patches of it that are getting bigger every year and I'd like to get rid if possible.
Thanks

Anyway......
Back to FA and his clover. Did you get anything Andy?? Read the instructions carefully because some grass treatments you can't put on the compost heap.

For those asking why I want rid of clover, this is from Amo's link....
Ordinary large leaved White Clover often appears in older lawns. They tend to be patchy and give a very uneven look to the lawn.
I'm a bit of a slave to my lawn - I hate weeds or any kind of unevenness to it. That's why I want rid of it. I haven't found anything yet to kill it but I'll keep trying. The info in Plocket's link is very useful.

No im not really mad about it Jen,ive got weeds, dandelions, daisys, all sorts, but i mow it often, firstly to keep it under control, and secondly, some weeds dont like their heads always being cut off,and they die,i do love to see the stripes though

I actually like to see clover and daisies and some little blue periwinkle things - but then the grass grows too along with them

I once had wild primroses and bluebells self-seed into a patch of lawn made a good excuse not to mow it! FA, surely one of those Weed'n'Feed treatments will get rid of the clover cos it's a broadleaf weed
