If you see this lady turning clockwise (rt leg up), You are using your right brain. If you see it the other way (left leg up), You are using your left brain. Some people do see both ways, But most people see it only one way. See if you can make her go one way and then The other by shifting the brain's current. BOTH DIRECTIONS CAN BE SEEN Experimentation has shown that the two different sides, Or hemispheres, of the brain are responsible for different Manners of thinking. The following table illustrates the Differences between left-brain and right-brain thinking: Left Brain Right Brain Logical Random Sequential Intuitive Rational Holistic Analytical Synthesizing Objective Subjective Looks at parts Looks at wholes Most individuals have a distinct preference for one of these Styles of thinking. Some, however, are more whole-brained And equally adept at both modes. In general, schools tend to Favor left-brain modes of thinking, while downplaying the Right-brain ones. Left-brain scholastic subjects focus on logical thinking, analysis, And accuracy. Right-brained subjects, on the other hand, focus on aesthetics, Feeling, and creativity.

It's clockwise/right leg for me too Rita. Makes no difference covering one eye, but covering the left side of the image does make the model change direction.

I can see her going both ways. I stop her, and she just changes direction when I start her again

I find that I see her going clockwise if I look directly at the image but if I use "averted vision" (looking just below the image directly but still able to see her at the top of my field of vision) she is going the other way.

Oo, it's driving me mad. I can only see the right leg turning clockwise. Doesn't change it if I close one eye or the other, and certainly not if I close both ;D Blimey - I've just done what FA said and got the anticlockwise movement. What a clever conundrum! Clearly need to train my left brain more (I like being 'right brained' though!) ;D

She's only going clockwise and I can't get her to change. How do I get her to go the other way then?

Hi P - have a go at looking to one side of the figure - and use your peripheral vision i.e. dont look directly at it. It worked for me

If you continually stare at her you will see only one way. Every time I look at the green area next to her then look back at her she changes direction. By doing this I can prevent her from turning a complete circle. Try it!
