I had similar thoughts about it denting some folks confidence in the images they may have submitted, and all artistic interpretation is somewhat subjective and down to personal preferences in my limited view. I think POTM nominations show that we have different ideas of what we like as individuals  It is a lovely idea in theory, but in practice it may be difficult to achieve a balanced view - and this from someone who has no intention of entering the RHS competition!!  x Tig |

I think the best idea would be to have a thread where people could post a selection of photos to get feedback on which may be the best to enter the RHS comp. I don't think we need to go to nominations and polls. I think we all need a 3rd eye in a way and this is a good way of helping people make the decision which photo(s) to enter.
