i read in the paper last week it was good for arthritus and rhumatism, 2 teaspoons mixed with honey, taken daily, has any-one tried it, because i did yesterday, and if its a wonder cure i might manage to keep it going, but if not, ohhh its disgusting i'm not sure i can face it this morning, but my finger is sending me daft.

I've not tried it Barbara but I'm all for natural remedies. Can you add anything else to make it more palatable?

I haven't tried it, but I WOULD believe in it and take it. In fact, I believe a slug of it every day is good for anyone. I love vinegar, but wouldn't like it mixed with honey. Could you take them separately ? Put the honey on bread maybe?

Southern Comfort might work Barbara!!! I've had a quick Google and it's suggested that you add water to the mixture too. They also say that organic apple cider vinegar is best AND I even found a recipe to make your own if you are interested! www.thebenefitofapplecidervinegar.com/acvrecipe.htm

Try diclofenac available from your doctor. Or Emulgel from the chemist. Same stuff in a gel. ;D OH uses it for his wrist. ;D The nearest you'll get him to vinegar is by opening a bad bottle of wine by accident!

My mum had this recently, she went to the docs quickly, diagnosed quickly & rest & injections seemed to do the trick.
She first noticed some of her fingers locked in when waking up in the morning.

I was told I had trigger finger but what I actually had was a trapped ulna nerve. I had surgery that wasn't needed, twice. I started to get the same symptoms in my other hand & was about to go through the whole thing again. I needed chiropractic treatment for a back problem & it cleared it. I asked a couple of chiropracticitioners & was told that if the nerve is trapped from the kneck end it can be cleared that way but if it's from the wrist end it can't. Janet.
