There is an area at the top of the main page called The Noticeboard with New Members Notes which is worth a read and a 'How To' section which covers some of the basics if you need any help.

Coo what a welcome  ... can seee I shall enjoy it hear !! ;D Just one thing ... where is the 'posts since last visited' button  I've no idea how to find out who's said what since I last loggin in !!  Plocket and I have met before I gow clems too promiss to load photbucket soon FA I just love to grow the unusual on the plot ... delight in swapping seeds ... this year the 6' peas with white flowers got it and yellow mange-tout with the mauve and blue flowers ... plot's pretty even if I have a c****y year !! ;D |

Hi there Flowerlady, great that you know Plocket it will make settling into GWD easier knowing someone I guess you'd probably be better having a browse through here Get the most from GWD to help you find your way around a bit, it's really quite easy once you get the feel of the board. If you get stuck any time though just shout up and someone is sure to point you in the right direction. See you around |

Welcome to GWD Flowerlady. ;D Posts since last visit is not currently a standard feature on the Proboards network, and the suggested solution is by no means foolproof and so probably best avoided for the moment. One thing to watch out for is that all threads with new posts will have a  tag to the left of the thread title. If you click mark as read as you sign out, only the threads with new posts will be tagged when you log back in. |

Hia Flo! You can also "Bookmark" threads that you are interested in - look at the bar at the top of the first thread (not part of the GW Header) and click on "Bookmark". That will add the thread to your personal list and if you go into your Profile there's the option to look at your bookmarks at the top. You can then add that to your Favorites and check it when you want. Hope that helps! Px |
