Has anyone tried propagating these from seed?
I have two plants. A white one and a new gorgeous bright pink one.
All I have managed to find out is that seeds should be sown between March and June, but I don't know if that is indoors or outdoors, whether the seed needs covering or not.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Found this bagpuss - temperature suggested indoor sowing to me.
Gaura lindheimeri The Bride seeds will usually germinate in 14-30 days. Sow seeds about 2mm deep in a Well drained seed sowing mix at about 22°C.

Hi Bagpuss, sorry hadn't seen this earlier I sowed some in Feb and again in March. Didn't note how many I sowed but I usually sow in 6's or 8's on perennials. I didn't have any instructions so would have used 50/50 compo and course sands and covered seed lightly with the same or I sometimes use vermiculite on the top. I was using my HP in Feb and March so would have had them in that. 1st lot sown failed but the 2nd lot I got 4 plants so you can say roughly 50% germination which was between 21 days to 60 days so a bit irratic As soon as they had true leaves I would have potted them on and put them in the poly. Don't think a HP is always necessary I would say a warm window would do. Hope this helps Anyhow I now have 4 lovely plants which look like they will flower this year, 2 are in the garden and 2 still in larger pots

These are the plants I've grown BP, looking a bit tangled I'm afraid they really need a home in the garden now with the other two.
