There isn't anyone on GWD tonight--only me--No Admin--No Moderators No Members . Am I missing something on Television ? or are you all trying to 'tell' me something?  Think I will run amok ;D and answer every Post ;D Just looked There are 8 guests keeping me company ;D |

I was watching Twins (Arnold Schwarzenegger/Danny DeVito) You've Been Framed, and the rest of Carry On Camping. ;D Not bothered about the 'true' story though as these things often aren't.  Also been surfing elsewhere until now. |

Well I have the board to myself now other than 3 guests. Nothing to temp me to watch the TV so I've just spent the last 30 minutes in the hot tub and got all wrinkly. All relaxed now and ready for bed. Hope you don't have a hangover NO Update......Spru is back and now Plocket has popped in too ;D |

9am in the morning and I'm all alone (except for the 5 mystery guests!). That's unusual for this time of the morning What are the "guests" doing I wonder? Why don't they want to play with us? Do we smell?  ;D ;D |

Hello Nightowl - you are not alone for long! I usually have a longer lie in on Saturdays but can't sleep so have been watching the birds from the kitchen window.

Hi PJ  No, I haven't bought one yet. I decided It has to be a Sony, which I couldn't afford at normal prices, so I'm bidding on Ebay. Missed a few cos I didn't really have the hang of it , and got a couple of days to wait for the next one. While I was waiting yesterday I bought a cooker!! Which I didn't need nearly as much as a telly! I just got carried away with winning!!!! Dangerous! I could do with a better cooker, mine is on it's way out (couple of knackered elements, broken knobs) but I manage ok with it cos I'm not a serious cook. It wasn't a neccessity!!! |

I have bought quite a lot of things on ebay - shoes and clothes mainly, some of which didn't look good or wrong sizes. It is very easy to get carried away in the small hours! After a few glasses of wine these virtual marketplace is amazing. Even bought plants and shrubs.
My OH is on it nearly everyday too. We have bought 2 Renault cars, but we did go and testdrive them before we bid on them. I would be very careful with electrical goods - make sure there is a proper warranty and a "real" address to contact if anything goes wrong.

Only bidding on things that are near enough to collect. Saves on the carriage (some of the costs are outrageous!), and I know where it's come from! |
