I was just looking through the seed tin and found some saved Nigella seed from last year which I forgot to plant. Has anyone elso forgotten to plant anything this year.? I thought I was more organised this year than previous years but obviously not.

Mmmm ... yes. Going through kitchen drawers yesterday, I found lots of bulbs which I'd obviously bought, probably at Lidl, and never got around to planting ... at least the Nigella seed should last, LNG ... cheers ...

What will you do with your bulbs CC, and speaking of bulbs I've a bag of begoinia bulbs/tubors which are sprouting, should I plant them do you think? Are they hardy?

Forgot to buy and sow some sweet Williams for next year. Bit late now I think so may have to buy some in the Autumn. I really fancied growing some again and, what's more, I promised Mum some too!

I'm quite sure most of us forget something ;D This year is passing so quickly, it hardly seems any time at all since I was lifting bulbs, and they'll soon be getting planted again. So it won't be so much forgetting to do things, more realising that the time has passed for doing them.

There is a 'whoops' moment in my gardening programme every year I think to myself - job for next week, then something else comes along and distracts me! Such is life, I hate to waste anything tho' so my bulbs are always 'in my face' until I plant them! Seeds last another year (usually ) At the moment I have plants in pots waiting for space to appear (as if by magic!) x Tig

The number of times I go out into the garden to do something specific, then spot something more urgent, get distracted, do other things that crop up. Then come in and flop down in the chair, tired and mucky but pleased with my labours - and then realise I never did actually do what I went out there for!
