I have it too stevemc and yes it is prolific. For now I'm happy to leave it but I guess in a couple of years I'll be less so, like you! It's pretty easy to pull up though isn't it?

Yep its very easy to pull up. Does it only spread by self seeding? I do wonder sometimes if i somehow help it to spread

Be glad it pulls out easily. I am plagued with Welsh Poppy, extremely pretty. extremely prolific and extremely difficult to pull up.

I think it must stevemc as the roots seem so shallow and not very wide either but maybe that's because it hasn't been in my garden long. Came in with some imported topsoil. Dont think I'll be using that supplier again - I've had all sorts of stuff appear since I got it - mare's tail being one Oh, I have welsh poppies too Wee and boy, they are difficult to pull up - even the smallest shoot.
