I love Rowans and have always wanted one here, even though I haven't really got the space for one I think I've got one now! Found this little seedling, which I think may be one . What do you think? Its tiny stem is quite twiggy-looking.

Certainly looks Rowan-ish to me. Gorgeous trees are Rowans....the whitebeam is my favourite. My daughter calls them cauliflower trees due to the flower heads in spring ;D

Ooooh well done NO, wonder what colour the berries will be. I have one of each in the garden and love them both although I probably sway more towards the yellow berries. Found a young sapling a few years ago in the garden and potted it up, as you do It's now a good 4ft 6inches high and has flowered this year, guess what colour it is, red.

They are a lovely tree NO. I was watching a blackbird pluck the berries from one of mine at the weekend.
