Hullo cherubs....just a quickie (as the actress said to the bishop) I realised I hadn't seen 4P online for a few days so I've just given her a tinkle (remembering how poorly she was a few months ago) Anyway, she's got serious pooter problems and unfortunately won't be online until she's sorted it all out. She sends her love anyway and she's missing you all  CPBxxx |

They had a power cut whilst she was on-line, and when everything came back on she'd lost her modem or something.....her ISP aren't being particularly helpful so she's really frustrated. I'll be ringing her again over the next couple of days and I'll pass on your good wishes. ThankyouX

How flippin annoying for her, I don't know how we managed before pc's tbo. I was down for a few days the other week and it felt like I'd lost a limb  we rely on them for so much these days and for GWD of course ;D Hope she gets sorted soon |

Can't believe I missed this thread ! Tell Myrt that Tarq misses her and sends his love. I look forward to seeing her again soon.
I'm not saying that they're a bit behind the times up there in Norfolkshire but she needs to shovel a bit more coal in the burner to get the PC fired up........ ;D

Tarquin, if only I'd known that a few days ago....all the angst I would have saved myself! ;D Well, thank you all for missing me! I'm surprised anyone noticed me gone..  I have sort of sorted it out now....I think.....it involved moving the pooter downstairs, rebuilding the entire household, wrapping myself in miles of cable, poking odd things into other odd things and swearing mightily......sigh......I still can't get onto the AOL home page and they are singularly stoopid about being helpful so I have been VERY techy and got online using Mozilla instead.....crumbs.....I still have a brain cell somewhere then..... So I have set about changing my ISP and I can now use the phone without losing my internet connection.....it WAS the very long cable they sent me that was causing all my connection problems. Humph, I knew it! I felt like Lt Uhura (sp?) for a while there - plugging things, clicking buttons in and calling plaintively into the ether for an answer.......(shame I don't have her figure really.....) ;D |
