I have just been up the garden again in the rain to cut some Sweet Peas and I have seen the most weird thing, its a big black slug eating a mouse. I saw it this morning as I was going to the compost bin and the afternoon its still there. I have a pic of it but didnt want to up set anyone by putting it on here unless you would like to see it that is just let me know. I didnt know that they ate meat? The cat must have left it there for me to find, not the slug but the mouse. ;D If I had'nt seen it with my own eyes I would never had believed it.

I had a look on WikiAnswers and found this Quote: Land slugs and sea slugs mostly feed on vegetation, although some slugs eat other animals, including other slugs. Land slugs have an astonishing 27,00 teeth in their mouths.

Right no more falling asleep in the garden.... 2700 teath? I knew they eat dead fellows and have unkindly used that to lure new ones to their certain death at The Execution Plank. Getting rid of a mouse corps is a new one in the book for me.
