I will have a look in my book and see if I can find them, think they are a moths caterpillar I would be fuming if a slug damaged my peppers so badly - hope it got squished x Tig

Yes i have found one or two big slugs in my GH to haveing seen some holes appear in some of my toms. I put some blue pelletts down and soon found the culprits.I take no prisoners if they get into the GH.

Well, ditto that yuk: after just 24 hours neglect, found these and a hundred or so others over some greens (unknown) kept in PT for planting out later On the other hand, Sorrel, unwanted, unloved for months, potbound and ultimately destined for the compost heap, dies back and regrows: thus neatly illustrating the Law of Sod. Same here! A POX on the cabbage white butterfly I say...so there! ALL the cabbages I have been keeping in the GH have been destroyed by them..sigh........plus those already in the ground, despite me going out there every day and picking the little sods off......sometimes I wish I wasn't an organic gardener so I could go in, armed to the teeth (teflon pants and EVERYTHING) and kill, murder and mutilate all the bl**dy things......sigh.............

They don't half make a mess when you organically sqish em tho', and your fingers turn green I don't like doing it but I would like some brassicas to survive them, we seem to have thousands of cabbage whites this year and very few other butterflies!
